Adjmor, our Timbuktu NGO partner, sent us a reasonable bid to send the technician and mason from the local hydraulic firm out to Zouera to change the pipeline connection to the reservoir. This we believe will allow water to flow to our new tapstand at the school! Cross your fingers.
They didn't connect this way originally because they were afraid to move the existing rusty pipe (see here) and were not prepared for installing a new segment. Farach was connected this way and all is fine there, but they don't have the kind of rust Zouera does. See how clean Farach is here >>>
